An item dealing with the Russian controlled German zone reported the salvage in August 1947 of the former German 3.394 gross register tons steamship Robert Möhring in Sassnitz costing 180.000 RM. She was built by the Krupp-Germania Werft, Kiel, Germany in 1927. She was burned out and beyond repair and now scrapped for parts. Her hull was lying at Sassnitz and by the Soviet Union estimated a selling price of 90.000 RM. After an overhaul was her machinery again to be used. Before 1933 was she called Orothara.
