German still unnamed steam tug near Binz, Rügen salvaged by Soviets according to a CIA report dated 7 July 1948

An item dealing with the Russian controlled German zone reported the salvage in July 1947 of a new former German still unnamed steam tug near Binz, Rügen costing 32.000 RM and estimated to be 200.00o Rm worth. The Soviet Union hoped that her cargo of 120 tons white metal consisted of wolfram.
