German still unnamed tanker near Bankewitz, Stralsund salvaged near Bankewitz, Stralsund by Soviets according to a CIA report dated 7 July 1948

An item dealing with the Russian controlled German zone reported the salvage of a new German still unnamed 1.250 gross register tons tanker in July 1947 near Bankewitz, Stralsund costing 10..000 RM. Now being fitted out by the Stadwerft, Stralsund.
