Protests against USA requesting to be allowed building an extra battleship according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 12 February 1930

An item dated Washington, USA 11th reported that the American senator Borah (1) as the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee [between 1924 and 1933]  and British representatives protested against the American proposal at the Naval Treaty of London to allow the USA to built an extra battleship.(2)
