Sibirles
An item reported the fenced and rail served Soviet Nikolayev Shipyard Oktyabrskoye with as geographic coordinates 46.51.45 north and 32.00.00 east located at the south border of Oktyabrskoye on a distance of 6 nautical miles south of Nikolayev, Ukraine on the east bank of the Bug used for building Sibirles-class timber-grain cargo ships and Tavriya-clas refrigerator ships. The shipyard possessed a side-haul marine railway, a covered building way, 1 steam plant, 1 pier, 1 quay ,1 floating crane and 9 fabrications, 2 shop and 37 support buildings. Building activities and land fill on the area besides the shipyards suggested plans to increase the shipyard.
