The Soviet Oktyabrskiy Shipyard 40 Let according to a CIA report dated September 1967

An item reported that the Soviet Oktyabrskiy Shipyard 40 Let located at the south border of Okyabrskiy (on a distance of nautical miles east of Gorkiy) on the north bank of the Volga used for repairing ferries and hydrofoils and possible building of barges and LCU’s. The shipyard possessed 1 side-haul railway with two slipways (for which 2 cranes were available), 2 shop and 23 support buildings,
