Launched by Marinette Marine Corporation, Marnette, Wisconsin, USA on 7 February 2004, maiden voyage begun on 12 September 2004 and commissioned on 10 June 2005. Of the Juniper-class seagoing buoy tender belonging to the US Coast Guard which is a multi purpose cutter including icebreaking and marine environmental protection.
