Canadian icebreaker CCGS Samuel Risely 1985-

Canada-flagged, homeport CCG Base Parry Sound, Ontario Canada, IMO 8322442, pennant CGC2960, MMSI 316001890 and call sign CG2960. Built by Vito Steel Boat&Barge Limited, Delta British Columbia, Canada with yard number 161. Commissioned on 4 April 1985. Gross register tonnage 1.967 tons, deadweight 1.186 tons, displacement  2.260 (light)-2.935 (full load) and as dimensions 59,01 (between perpendiculars)-69,73 x 14,36 x 5,84 metres. Crew 31 men (including 9 officers). Icebreaker annex buoy tender of the Samuel Risley-class, active in the Upper Great Lakes area. Design using offshore supply technology. Able to break through ice with a thickness of 0,6 metres.
