An item reported that the Soviet Union prepared navy bases along the Polish Baltic coastline to be used for an imaginary invasion of Scandinavia. The Polish navy was to secure the sea lines leading to those bases. The Polish coastline was due her geographical location resulting in small distances very suitable for invading Denmark and Norway. For instance from Kolobrzeg towards Bornholm was just 70 miles. Small harbours as Kolobrzg, Darlow and so on were perfect to concentrate the for an invasion needed small vessels and transports.
