Japanese whaling fleets operating out of South Georgia Island according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated September 1963

An item referred to the Suidan Tsushin dated 2 August 1963 reporting that the two largest Japanese fishing companies would operate two fleets in beginning November with the use of the whaling bases on British owned South Georgia Island, positioned in the South Atlantic Ocean.
