The shipyard built at that moment inland tugs and inland barges with a cargo capacity of 80 cargo cars, ocean going ships were only repaired, not built. According to the informant was every month a tug with as dimensions around 25 x 4-5 metres and a hull f metal and wooden interior completed. For building a barge was one month needed, the number of barges at the same time under construction was not known. Barges were usually built of metal, either riveted or welded. The informant had heard that the metal came from the Soviet Union, but he did not believe that. He thought that the used metal was manufactured in Romania.
