Thaelmann Shipyard, Brandenburg, East Germany building seagoing tugs according to a CIA report dated 5 August 1953

An item reported that the Thaelmann Shipyard, Brandenburg, East Germany was to build under the 1953 Shipbuilding program a large number of tugs. Five seagoing tugs were scheduled to be completed on 25 April 1953 and just like another 20 seagoing tugs to be delivered to the USSR.
