The tugs serving in the harbour of Odesa, Ukraine according to a CIA report dated 10 April 1959

An item reported that in the harbour of Odessa, Ukraine for docking, turning and berth shifting of ships two black painted tugs were in service. However just one of the two was used for moving ships during the unloading of their cargoes by suckers. One tug was described as being an American built 500hp motor rug , the other as an old 400 hp steam tug. One tug need a wire to pull a vessel during the berth shifting.
