An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out steam whaler Maginthien with a cargo capacity of 408 tons had in 1873 as catch results while active in Greenland 1.300 seals, zero whales, 174 hectolitres seal oil, zero hectolitres whale oil, total 174 litres oil and zero kilo whalebone.
