An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out whaler Xanthus with a cargo capacity of tons had in 1873 as catch results while active in Cumberland Bay [South Georgia] zero seals, 6 whales, zero hectolitres seal oil, 696 hectolitres whale oil, total 696 litres oil and 3.000 kilo whalebone.
