Gross tonnage 6.035 tons, net tonnage 4.547 tons, deadweight 9.020-11.600 tons and as dimensions 401.9 x 54.3 x 27 (loaded) feet. Speed 12 (normal cruising)-15 (maximum) knots. 3 Cylinder Triple expansion steam machinery. Tanker converted into a whale oil carrying cargo ship with a capacity of 67.500 barrels. Call sign DHIY. Delivered by Chester Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Chester, Pennsylvania, USA with yard number 339 in May 1917. Property of Fridtj. Siegwarth, Tønsberg, Norway, 1920 Carl Wildhagen&Co., Sandefjord, Norway, 1927 renamed Frango of Haldor Virik, Sandefjord, Norway, 1928 of Frango (Haldor Virik), 1929 of the American Whaling Co. Inc. (A/S Thor Dahl), Wilmington, USA, renamed Clifford on December 1939 of Frango Corporation, Panama, renamed Hakko Maru in 1941 of Teikoku Senpaku K.K., Tokyo, Japan and sunk by the American submarine USS Bluefish (SS-222) on 4 January 1944 in the South China Sea.
