Netherlands-flagged, MMSI 244620454 and call sign PE4780. Laid down by J.&K. Smit, Kinderdijk, Netherlands on28 November 1949, launched on 21 July 1950, commissioned as survey vessel for mapping the North Sea Hr.Ms. Zeefakkel (A 903) on 16 March 1951, decommissioned on 26 October 1972, became training ship for midshipmen, after 2 November 1999 laid up in reserve, acquired by the Zeekadetkorps Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands on lend lease conditions since 15 January 2000 and property since 3 April 2004. As training ship numbered her crew 26 men. Dimensions 45,38 (over all) x 7,5 (maximum) x 2,2 (medium draught) metres and a displacement of 384 tons.
