Auction of 1/32 share in the Dutch whaler De Gekroonde Mol in 1733


Auction at the Nieuwezyds Heeren Loogement, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Amsterdam on Monday 16 March 1733 of 1/32 share in the Dutch whaler De Gekroonde Mol, fluyt, commandeur Pieter Claasz Rut, 6 boats, bookkeepers Jan and Cornelis Mol at Jisp, Netherlands, bound for Davis Strait and sold for 550 Dutch guilders to Jacob de Flines voor Jacob Alewijn Gijse. 1. Active as commandeur in the Davis Strait whaling between 1726-1739 (between 1732-1739 for Jan and Cornelis Mol, catch results in 1733, respectively 1734 1 whale-50 barrels whale blubber respectively 2-90. Alphabetische naam-lyst van alle de Groenlandsche en Straat-Davidsche Commandeurs die sedert het jaar 1700 op Groenland en sedert het jaar 1719 op de Straat Davis etc. Gerret van Sant.
