The results of the Scottish whaler Perseverance in 1872 according to the Dutch newspaper Vlaardingsche courant dated 24 October 1874

An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out whaler Perseverance with a cargo capacity of 163 tons had in 1872 as catch results while active in Cumberland Bay [South Georgia] zero seals,7 whales, zero hectolitres seal oil, 1.160 hectolitres whale oil, total 1.160 litres oil and 2550 kilo whalebone.
