An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out steam whaler Active with a cargo capacity of 380 tons had in 1873 as catch results while active in Greenland 759 seals, zero whales, 116 hectolitres seal oil, zero hectolitres whale oil, total 116 litres oil and 2.750 kilo whalebone.
