British destroyer HMS Ferret executed with success her trial according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1911 No. 10

An item reported that the British destroyer HMS Ferret built by Messrs. White and Co., Cowes, Wight completed her 8 hours trial on 17 August achieving a speed of 30 knots which was 3 knots above the contracted speed.(1)

1. Launched on 21 April 1911, converted into a fast mine layer in 1917 and sold on 9 May 1921 to be broken up. Of the Acheron-class (since October 1913 called I-class preceded by Acorn-class and succeeded by Acasta-class. Built under the 1910-1911 Progamme.
