Machinery consists of 4 diesel engines and 3 controllabe pitch propellors allowing a speed of 18 knots and with 15 knots a range of 6.000 nautical miles. Transport capacity 1.200 tons and 486 military and carried with her 4 landing craft (LCVP’s) and 3 self-propelled pontoons. Crew numbers 176 men. Armament consists of 2Leonardo’s (ex Oto Melara) Fast Fortu 4cm guns mounted on the bow, 2-2cm Phalanx CIWS ,Block 1B Baseline 2 rapid-fire cannon and 2 Aselsan Stamp 12.7mm RWS and a landing sport for a heavy helicopter.
