An item dated London, England 6th May report hat officially the loss of the British destroyer Afridi (1) was confirmed. She was sunk by a bomb while escorting a British convoy with British troops retreating from Namsos. The French admiralty reported the same that during an attack on a convoy on the North Sea the French destroyer Bison sunk.(2) A large part of her crew was saved. From London was also the loss of the Polish destroyer Grom reported.(3) She was sunk by a bomb during operations off the Norwegian coast. Of her crew were 66 men still missing.
