Laid down by Taskizak Yard, Turkey on 5 July 1989, launched on 20 July 1990 and commissioned on 27 July 1994. Displacement 3.773 (full load) tons and as dimensions 95,50 (waterline)-104,98 x 15,50 x 4,75 metres. Transport capacity 900 armed military, 15 tanks and 4 LCVP’s. Crew numbers 109 men including 9 officers. With helicopter platform. Machinery consists 0f 4 diesels with 10.000 bhp. Speed 17 knots. Range 4.000 nautical miles with a speed of 15 knots. Armament consists of 1x2-3,5cm cal 90 Oerlikon guns, 2x2-4cm 70 cal Borfors guns, 2-2cm Oerlikon guns and around 200 mines. Stern fitted out with two ports connecting mine rails in the tank deck.
