Catch results of Scottish seal hunters according to the Dutch newspaper Vlaardingsche courant dated 25 April 1885

An item reported that the catch results of the seal hunters sent from Dundee, Scotland towards Newfoundland were extra ordinary in last March. Until 1 April were 62.000 seals caught or around 600 tons train with a net profit of 300.000 guilders. The results excluded another two fully loaded ships before 6 April.
