Maltese and Tuscan navy being strengthened according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 27 July 1684

An item dated Venice 8th July reported that since the departure of general Molino with 13 warships, a fire ship and 3 warships of Malta towards Corfu 4 galleys of the Duke of Tuscany and the 2 ships bought by this republic from the duke of Savoy had arrived. The arrival of Maltese galleys was also expected. In the arsenal were 4 warships and 12 galleys under construction of 8 could be already be armed.
