American whaler Mary Frazier visited Port Russell, New Zealand according to the New Zealand newspaper Daily Southern Cross dated 28 June 1873

An item reported the departure from the port of Russell, New Zealand on 16 June of the whaler barque Mary Frazier master Nye towards the whaling grounds.(1)
