Danish merchant ship Vrouw Dorothe seized by privateer according to the Dutch newspaper De nieuwe Haagse Nederlandse courant dated 18 October 1799

An item reported that an Imperial privateer stopped the Danish ship Vrouw Dorothe master Johan Lorentsen loaded with fruit underway from Genoa, Italy towards Altona, Germany and brought her to Livorno, Italy. She was released without being compensated.
