Tuscan galleys searching for Barbarian pirates according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 14 August 1723

An item dated Basel 5th August reported that the 3 Tuscan galleys were cruysing at that moment above Longone for Barbarian pirates. The Turkish seemed to stop their activities that year and most of the sultanes in the Dardannes were already disarmed.
