Dimensions of Danube barges, tugs and passengers ships at Belgrad, Yugoslavia suitable for service on the Black Sea in 1943

A letter of the Reichskommisar für die Seeschiffahrt dated Berlin 25 October 1943 was dealing with building and fitting out of ships to be used on the Black Sea. He supplied details about several kinds of inland vessels. For Belgrad, Yugoslavia:

Barges similar to the ones described under Vienna-Budapest; the largest barges had as dimensions 80 x 9 x 2,30 (loaded) metres and with the largest beam 76,5 x 10 x 1,93 (loaded) metres. Largest (paddle) tugs had as dimensions 75,9 x 22,00 x 1,50 metres.
