British destroyer HMS Ruby launched according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1910-1911 no. 9

An item reported the launching at East Cowes of the 700 tons British destroyer HMS Ruby. Her machinery consisted of Parsons turbines and oil fuel fired boilers.(1)

Note

1. Part of Acorn-class destroyers, preceded by the Beagle-class and succeeded by the Acheron-class. Laid down by J. Samuel White&Company, Cowes on 15 February 1910, launched on 4 November 1910, completed on 7 April 1911 and sold to be broken up on 9 May 1921.
