British destroyers HMS Larne and Lyra nearly completed according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1910-1911 no. 9

An item reported that the British 780 tons destroyers HMS Larne (1) and Lyra (2) of the Acorn-class were nearly completely fitted out launched at the shipyard of Thornycroft&Co., Woolston, England. Speed 27 miles.

Notes

1.Part of Acorn-class destroyers, preceded by the Beagle-class and succeeded by the Acheron-class. Laid down by John I. Thornycroft&Company, Woolston on 8 December 1909, launched on 23 August 1910, completed in February 1912 and sold to be breaking up on 9 May 1921.

2. Part of Acorn-class destroyers, preceded by the Beagle-class and succeeded by the Acheron-class. Laid down by John I. Thornycroft&Company, Woolston on 8 December 1909, launched on 4 October 1910, completed in February 1911 and sold to be broking up on 9 May 1921.
