An item reported that on the Atlantic Ocean nine ships still not arrived since 1 March and which were probably destroyed by 1 or 2 enemy raiders active on the South Atlantic Ocean south of the 10 degrees south latitude. Two ships hit mines off the Cape of Good Hope but managed to reach Cape Town, South Africa safely. The mines were probably laid by such raider.
