German torpedo planes and submarines attacking Murmansk convoy according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee Daily summary dated 8 May 1942

An item reported that six German torpedo planes were involved in the nightly attack of the eastbound convoy destined for Murmansk, Russia. An enemy submarine fired torpedoes. German aircraft and submarines attacked the convoy several times during her voyage.
