British minesweeping sloop HMS Veronica cruising in the South Atlantic Ocean according to the Secret Admiralty Weekly Intelligence Summary Nr. 42 for the week ending 22 October 1921

An item reported that British minesweeping sloop HMS Veronica was to visit Funafuti (Ellice Islands) between 18-21 October, Rotumah (Fiji Islands) between 22-24 October, Taviuni on 26 October, Ngau between 27-30 October, Suva between 31 October-3 November, Vanua Mbalavu between 4-6 November, Vavau between 7-9 November, Nukualofa between 11-15 November, Auckland between 21-23 November and Port Russell, Bay of Islands on 26 November.(1)

Note

1. Part of the Acacia-class minesweeping sloops, laid down by Dunlop Bremner&Company, Port Glasgow, Scotland in January 1915, launched on 27 May 1915, completed in August 1915 and sold to be broken up on 22 February 1935.
