An item reported that the Russia believed to clear the congested harbour of Murmansk before new shipments arrived. The J.I.C. commented that German aircraft attacked the harbour. They referred to a broadcast of Moscow reporting that Russians supported by aircraft and the navy attacked the German forces from behind.
