In a report published 26 February 1953 supplied an anonymous source information about the Soviet Caspian Flotilla; the source left the region in 1951. According to him were all new naval vessels and 2-3 of the old vessels fitted out with radar which was officially as radio lokator operated by the lokatorshchik (radar operator). While he was never been able a sufficient close look on the antenna he could not supply more details.
