Results of the Dutch Greenland whaling according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 13 October 1750

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 12 October reported that of the 112 Dutch Greenland whalers sailed out that year all returned except for 3 ships which were lost, 6 whalers returned empty. Total catch results 605 whales 15,988 quardelen, estimated almost 5,5 whale for each whaler except for two which went to Davis Strait with as results 2 whales 60 quardelen respectively empty
