Part of the Dokkum-class. Built with US support (MDAP) under the revised plan of Van Holthe dated 2 August 1949. Displacement 417 ton and as dimensions 46,62 x 8,75 x 2,28 metres. The 2 MAN V622/30 supplied via 2 screws totally 2,500hp allowing a speed of 14 knots. Her armament consisted of 2-4cm machine guns, as communication vessel 1-2cm machine gun. Her crew numbered 38 men. Laid down by Haarlemse Scheepsbouwmaatschappij, Haarlem on 10 August 1954, launched on 28 November 1956, commissioned on 24 April 1957, rebuilt into a diving vessel, decommissioned in September 1985, departed to Curaçao where she became a communication vessel since 25 April 1986, decommissioned on 9 October 1990, sold afterwards and became part of the Curaçao Sea Aquarium.
