Italian armed yacht Misurata replaced gunboat Alula according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 20 for the week ending 20 November 1920

An item reported that the Italian armed yacht Misurata (1) arrived at Aden where she was to replace the gunboat Alula (2) which needed repairs.

Notes

1. In service June 1894-1924, armed with 2-47mm guns, crew numbered maximum 38 men and a displacement of >700-880< tons.

2. Ex-G23 Built as The Japanese Sekijyo Maru in 1912, acquired by Italy in 1917, displacement 308 tons, dimensions 131½ x 21 x 9 3/4 feet, horsepower 500hp, speed 13 knots, crew numbered 27 men, armed with1-3” anti aicraft gun. In 1940 still in service.
