Dimensions 338.8 (over all) x 50.0 (molded) x 29.0 (molded depth) x 21.0 (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 5,100 tons, gross tonnage 3,800 tons , net tonnage 2,100 tons, bale capacity cubic 228,000 feet and net refrigerated cubic capacity 9,800. The diesel propulsion with variable pitch controller supplied 1,700 shp normal horsepower allowing a speed of 10½ knots.
