Stoomvaart Maatschappij “Nederland”, Amsterdam, Netherlands on 25 April 1922 and sunk/torpedoed by the Italian submarine Leonardo da Vinci on a distance of 160 miles south east of Durban, South Africa on 17 April 1943. Of the 86 crew members just one survived. She left on 4 April 1943 Glasgow, Scotland loaded with war stores bound for British Indies via Cape Town, South Africa.
