1. Part of D-class submarines, preceded by C-class, succeeded  by E-class, built by Fore River Shipyard, Quincy, Massachusetts, USA, renamed D-3 on 17 November 1911, decommissioned on 29 March 1922 and sold to be broken up on 31 July 1922.
