Whale oil of German Greenland whalers Pauline and Patriot sold according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 20 May 1847

An item dated Bremen, Germany 15th reported the sale of both direct cargoes of whale oil consisting of 4.000 tons with free export to Hanover and Oldenburg of 17 rd. from board to collect and 2.600 tons of 16 rd. to deliver to the town and finally 200 tons second hand with as result that everything was sold. The catch of both from Greenland returned ships Pauline and Patriot was estimated on circa 1.000 tons.
