Dutch whaler Bloemendaal for sale at auction at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1735

Shipbrokers Jacob de Flines and Jacob Michiel Brouwer. Auction at Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement, Haarlemmerdyk, Amsterdam on Monday 24 October 1735 after the Boomklok stopped of the Dutch hekboot schip Bloemendaal, commandeur Abraham Fredrikse Myts. (1) Built in 1716. Lying between the Bikkers boom and Sandhoek. Dimensions 116¾ (prow) x 28.6½ (first beam before large hatch within the hull) x 12.7 (depth of hold at first beam before large hatch on load line) x 6.5½ (height verdeck first beam before large hatch) Amsterdam foot. Sold for ƒ 5,600 to Gerrit Poel.

1. Greenland commandeur 1727-1758, 1735 for Klaas Arentsz Bloem, Zaandam, Netherlands 3 whales 100 barrels blubber 170 quardelen oil. Alphabetische naam-lyst van alle de Groenlandsche en Straat-Davidsche Commandeurs die sedert het jaar 1700 op Groenland en sedert het jaar 1719 op de Straat Davis etc. Gerret van Sant.
