Dimensions 455.3 (over all) x 62.0 (molded) x 38.0 (molded depth) x 28.6 (load draught molded) feet, 10,180 deadweight tons, gross tonnage 7,600 tons, net tonnage 4,615 tons and bale capacity 452,385 cubic feet. The diesel propulsion supplied 5,850 shp allowing a speed of 15 knots.
