Japanese large cruiser submarine I-9 to I-12 1941

Built in 1941, in 1946 all gone. With a displacement of 2.443 (standard)-2.919 (normal)-3.629 (energency)-4.149 (submerged) tons and as dimensions 113.7 x 9.5 x 5.36 metres. Diving depth 100 metres. Diving time 60 seconds. Submerged endurance 30 hours with a speed of 3 knots. Torpedo tubes 6 (forward).  Battery 10.000 AH-240 cells-240 volts. Engines 2 cycle supplying 12.400 shp. Speed 24 (surfaced)-8.8 (submerged) tons .Range 16.000 nautical miles with a speed of 16 knots. Riveted double hull made of ‘D’ steel.
