British rear admiral in the Caspian Sea area proposed to set up a regular patrol according to the Weekly appreciation of matters of naval interest No.13 week ended 15 March 1919

An item reported that the British rear admiral in the Caspian Sea area proposed to establish a patrol consisting of 3 ships and seaplanes on the line Chechen Island-Alexandrovsk with the other ships as backup at Petrovsk. They were to stop raiders and observe the Bolshevik fleet.
