British sloop HMS Espiegle bound for Yemen according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 32 for the week ending13 August 1921

An item reported that the British sloop HMS Espiegle would continue her voyage to the Seychelles and the East African coast in the end of August arriving early November at Aden, Yemen.(1)

1. Part of Cadmus-class screw steam sloops preceded by Condor-class succeeded by Flower-class, laid down at Sheerness Dockyard/Wallsend Slipway Co. in 1900, launched on 8 December 1900, completed in 1901 and sold at Bombay, India on 17 September 1923.
