Canadian salmon gill-net boat Agnies I built in 1959 according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated January 1960 no. 1

An item reported the building of the small type gill-net boat Agnes T for the Canadian Fraser River Salmon fishery by Steveston, British Columbia in 1959. This was contrary to the past few yeard when the gill-netters increased to a lenght of around 35 feet. Dimensions 30 x 8.5 feet, the new style wheelhouse for more comfort and visibility, automatic steering equipment with drum and steering controls at the stern and a 140 hp gas fuelled engine.
